The ILRU (Independent Living Research Utilization) program is a
national center for information, training, research, and
technical assistance in independent living.  Its goal is to expand
the body of knowledge in independent living and to improve
utilization of resuls of research programs and demonstration
projects in this field.  It is a program of TIRR (The Institute for
Rehabilitation and Research), a nationally recognized medical
rehabilitation facility for persons with disabilities.




 "ADA Basic Building Blocks" is an introductory websource on the

Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) that explores the
legal requirements and spirit of the ADA.  US Access Board provides
webinars for free.  Small fee for CEC. 




SAMHSA's Resource Center to Promote Acceptance, Dignity and
Social Inclusion Associated with Mental Health (ADS Center)

Easter Seals Project ACTION extends its range and scope of
FREE learning opportunities through a series of "distance learning"
events.  These events are accessed from home or office,
and they feature guest speakers who are experts in the topic
to be discussed. 




The Assistive Technology Industry Association ("ATIA") is a
non-for-profit membership organization of manufacturers,
sellers and providers of technology-based assistive devices
and/or services.


Attend 60-90 minute educational webinars on a variety of topic,
including previews of pre-conference seminars.  Webinars will run
throughout the year for a registration fee starting at only $39 for
one-hour webinars and $49 for one and one-half hour webinars. 
The registration fee can be rebated towards purchase of a
pre-conference seminar if the webinar is a preconference preview.

receive a link which provides access to the archived audio and
presentation files.  Access to the ATIA Webinar System used for
the live broadcasts is not required for viewing archieved versions
